1. Install new batteries
2. Ensure the batteries are installed with the correct polarity.
3. Is it possible to manually change channels via the side /back press buttons on the TV? If so the remote is faulty and you will need to purchase a new remote.
4. The sensor on the TV could also be faulty however in most cases the remote is faulty and easier to replace as a first step. A faulty sensor on the TV will require service for that product.
